Description: Pinocchio was the first Disney feature to utilize animator models or "maquettes". This skillfully crafted, hand-painted sculpture originates from a late 1930's Pinocchio animation maquette from the Walt Disney Animation Research Library; the production molds for this piece are made from a digital three-dimensional scan. Numbered Limited Edition 3,500.
These pieces (made of Resin) are the same material the original maquette's were made of. Because some of the original molds no longer exist these are made from a digital three-dimensional scan. They did these figurines off the movie so it is the first "mold" of the sculpture
