90 Years of Mickey Mouse - "Like Walt, I can also say it all started with a mouse. Mickey was my first drawing when I was five years old, which started my aspiration to become an artist. At seventeen, I drew Mickey for Disney Legend, Ralph Kent, who then gave me my first job at Disney as a character artist. My first painting submitted to Disney Fine Art was of Mickey, which has turned into a dream career these past fourteen years. Not to mention, my best friend in art school is now the official voice of Mickey. This little mouse has had the biggest impact on my life. For his 90th Birthday, I wanted to create something special by celebrating nine different Mickeys from nine decades, from early drawings to finished brush strokes. Happy Birthday Mickey and thank you for the many years of joy and inspiration!"
